Find your rhythm with Music at Immanuel.
Music at Immanuel is a highly regarded program of practical, technology and theoretical studies, and numerous extra-curricular ensembles encompassing strings, woodwind, brass, rhythm section, piano, voice and electronica.
In our curricular music program, our key learning areas include: Creating, Musicianship, Music Styles, Performance and Industry skills.
Our music staff are not only highly qualified educators, passionate about music; but they are all actively performing musicians. Private instrumental tuition is also available on campus for a huge variety of instruments. Regular Artists in Residence give students real world music mentoring from some of the best in the music industry.
With an average of fifty public performances a year, the extra-curricular music program extends the students’ experiences beyond their imaginations incorporating bands, orchestras, choirs and small ensembles in a diverse range of musical styles.
Off campus, students have opportunities to perform at many venues and events such as the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Generations in Jazz, and touring experiences such as the Little Rock Tour.
We support live music on campus.
We have a number of professional performance and recording spaces ensuring live music lives on campus.
Our performing spaces include:

- Rehearsal Studio – fully equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting, with doors opening out to facilitate outdoor concerts.
- Apple Music Technology Suite.
- Music recording studio.
- Large concert spaces including the Auditorium, Chapel and outdoor performance spaces.
Introducing our own music label 32records.
We support and nurture original music at Immanuel, and students are encouraged to learn from the past but find their own sound.
To support this, we have created 32records; a music label with a difference to promote students’ original music and equip them with the necessary skills to launch a career in the music industry.
