Immanuel Youth Innovation Summit
Immanuel hosted students from schools across Adelaide for the second event of the Immanuel Youth Innovation Summit series. The theme for the workshop was ‘Health & Wellbeing’.
Powered by Future Anything, this fast-paced and hands-on day of listening, learning, and doing culminates in teams of students pitching their own innovative technology-based solution to a complex, local issue.
The second event in a series of four exciting and engaging themed events being offered throughout 2022, students will hear from some of Australia’s most exciting and inspiring innovators and changemakers, as well as explicitly develop their entrepreneurial thinking and human-centred design skills.
The workshop was run by Nicole Dyson, a globally recognised expert and practitioner in project-based learning and student entrepreneurship and is the founder of Future Anything, an award-winning, curriculum-aligned entrepreneurship program for high school students. She is also the founder of YouthX, Australia’s first purpose-built Accelerator program for school-aged entrepreneurs. Nicole passionately believes that youth-led ideas have the power to bend the future, and works tirelessly to provide young people (and their educators) with the support, skills, and space they need to take their ideas out of the classroom and into the real world.
