Mission & Values

Mission Statement

At Immanuel College, we actively strive to provide an education in a Christian context where the whole person can grow and develop. Our curricular and co-curricular programs offer students opportunity for spiritual and moral growth, service and social involvement, excellence in academics, the arts and worthwhile physical activities, to prepare them for their individual vocations and a Christian life.

At Immanuel College we aim to:

  • Encourage students to develop a living relationship with God through Christ.
  • Develop students’ knowledge, intellectual, interpersonal and physical skills through their participation in the range of curricular and co-curricular opportunities provided.
  • Develop students’ capabilities to their fullest potential.
  • Cater for individual differences; recognise individual talents and divergent cultural backgrounds.
  • Prepare students for life and work in a rapidly changing global society.

Our Christian values

The spirituality of Immanuel is intrinsically Christian, based on the love of God for us as shown in the life of Jesus Christ. This is a love that includes and reaches out to all people irrespective of background, race or culture. It is a love that has at its centre, a respect for and care of the individual while also celebrating and promoting the vitality and distinctive value of community.

Our Christian foundations underpin, and are embedded in all we do and are demonstrated through values embodied in God’s Son, Jesus Christ, values such as love, forgiveness, compassion, justice and service.

The Immanuel Edge

At Immanuel College we have a style of our own. We take the welfare and success of our students seriously so they can achieve their true potential. We deliver educational innovation, and we also like to have a bit of fun. 'The Immanuel Edge' embodies this; unique, contemporary, fun, bold. Learn more about the Immanuel Edge.
